Are you on a quest for Recreation and Vacation property?
If you're a North American baby boomer, or edging closer, your memory of a recreation property or vacation home might be one of the family cottage at the lake, or a lot in a remote, wooded area suitable for tenting or a RV. The family packed up the tent trailer or travel trailer during week-ends and summer holidays and hit the road for a couple of hours drive. North Americans, living in the shivering, northern climates, called the travel agent in November, and researched several travel brochures for sun-belt destinations in Florida or Arizona, California and Texas, and the tropical hot spots of Hawaii, Mexico, the Bahamas or Barbados.
My, how times have changed! Today, the holiday RV may be a motor home, costing as much as a beachfront condo on the Mayan Riviera, and the condo may be worth more than your principal residence most anywhere. What hasn't changed is the desire and need to vacation, and the strategy of treating your vacation property as an investment...making it more affordable. If you're an empty nester, you may be seriously considering relocating your home to some exotic location in Nicaragua or a gated community on Baja California.
If the preceding commentary inspires you to say..."yup, that's us"...stay tuned to our web site. Find your ideal recreational property, be it a ski chalet in Vermont or British Columbia, or waterfront property where you can build your dream vacation home on the tropical shores of the Dominican Republic. Subscribe to our newsletter and watch for guest columnists...learn a little, or find a "lot"...or golf course home...or lakefront cabin...or a RV lot to plunk down today's version of the travel trailer.
